Delete your account
You can request deletion of your Crush Dating (CRUSH) account and associated data. This information is available without signing in.
Delete in the app or on the website
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Profile and choose Delete Account.
- Choose a reason, optionally add feedback, and confirm deletion.
Requesting deletion ends access and hides your profile immediately. Cleanup continues in the background and may remain pending when a provider is unavailable or older photo ownership requires review. The confirmation reference identifies your request; it does not mean every provider has finished. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete an account.
Request deletion without signing in
Email Alpha Dynamics Tech at [email protected] with the subject “CRUSH account and data deletion request”. Include the email associated with your CRUSH account and say whether you want the account and associated data deleted or want to request deletion of specific data.
Send the request from your account email if possible. If you no longer have access to it, explain that in your request so account ownership can be checked. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or identity documents in your initial email.
Automatic deletion after six months of inactivity
Accounts that have not signed in or used the app while signed in for six calendar months are eligible for automatic deletion. For a new account that has never been used, the period starts at creation. Signing in or returning to the app while signed in restarts the inactivity period.
Existing accounts receive a six-month transition from policy activation. Eligibility is checked daily while the service runs and again when deletion is requested. Unused paid credits, admirer access, recorded purchases and ongoing subscriptions prevent automatic deletion. You can still request deletion of these accounts yourself.
Automatic deletion uses the same background cleanup and retention rules as deletion requested from Profile.
Associated data and retention
The workflow removes account and profile data, related likes, passes, matches, messages, blocks, feedback and personal queued or stored notification emails. It removes owned photos from app storage, ends the app's Firebase identity where applicable, and requests cancellation of legacy Stripe subscriptions and deletion of the Stripe customer. It does not delete your Google account. Missing provider configuration or an unverified older photo keeps that cleanup step pending for review. Unresolved provider relationships require review. A contact address may be kept privately to recover an interrupted provider request and is erased after cleanup.
Private safety reports and their limited evidence remain while a case is open, including urgent child-safety cases. Closed cases are scheduled for removal 180 days after the later of closure or account deletion. Restricted hashed purchase identifiers remain for seven years under our billing and replay-prevention policy; payment providers may keep their own records. Minimal completed deletion-job metadata expires after 90 days. Backups and their erasure schedule have not been verified, so we do not promise immediate backup removal. Contact the deletion address for confirmation of completed steps, pending cleanup and retained information.
