Privacy & Terms
Crush Dating (CRUSH) is operated by Alpha Dynamics Tech. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected]. Updated September 20, 2026.
Privacy Policy
Information we collect and use
We process your name, email, date of birth, password authentication records and, if you choose Google sign-in where available, your Google account identifier. We use these to create and secure your account, check adult eligibility and provide account recovery.
Your profile can include approved photos, biography, gender, dating preferences, interests, job, city or country, relationship intention, spoken languages and optional prompt answers. Dating preferences may reveal sensitive personal information. Age preferences are private and checked in both directions when discovering or starting a connection. Other members see the approved profile information you share and actual shared interests. Public profile responses show age, without your full date of birth or private age range.
We process likes, passes, matches and messages to provide discovery and conversations. Recent authenticated activity supports an online indicator for matches; the underlying activity timestamp is not shown to them. Reports, feedback and limited conversation evidence help us review safety concerns.
Your privacy choices
In Profile, you can pause discovery and new connections, hide your online indicator, choose whether others see read receipts, and control message, match and like push alerts. Existing matches and earlier likes remain available when paused. Conversation mute silences its push alerts without removing messages or unread counts; the other person is not notified. Internal read and activity records still support unread counts, security and inactivity rules. Essential safety, account and billing emails remain enabled. Alerts already accepted by a push provider cannot be recalled.
Location and device storage
With device permission, location is used for nearby discovery and optional city verification. Stored discovery coordinates are rounded to three decimal places. Other members see your city, country and verification status, not your exact coordinates. You can decline location permission and use city selection instead. A chosen exploration city does not verify your presence there.
The app stores sign-in tokens, language preferences and cached account or profile information on your device. Unfinished profile drafts can resume after signing back into the same account for 30 days after the last save. Copies of messages you deliberately tried to send can be recovered for retry for seven days after the attempt; they are not resent automatically. Expired local copies are discarded when the app next reads them and may remain longer on an unused device. Signing out, changing accounts or requesting deletion in this browser clears profile drafts and message retry copies on this device. Publishing your profile also clears its draft; confirmed publication of a message clears its retry copy. Drafts and retry copies are not synced between devices; you can clear another device through sign-out or its browser storage controls. Private photo previews are kept only in memory while the page is open. Hosting and performance services process technical request information to deliver, secure and measure the service.
Service providers and sharing
The service uses web hosting, a Render backend, MongoDB database storage and Cloudinary photo storage. Google/Firebase supports optional Google authentication. Stripe processes web payments where available; we store payment references and credit or subscription status rather than full card details. Resend supports account-recovery and safety emails when configured. Vercel Speed Insights measures web performance.
New photos are sent for automated safety screening through OpenAI moderation or a configured AI Gateway fallback. Photos remain private pending approval. Optional AI message suggestions and eligible safety-review assistance use Vercel AI Gateway and its configured model provider, processing relevant profile or report information. Suspected child-exploitation reports are excluded from general AI review. The owner makes report-enforcement decisions. See Child Safety for protections and reporting.
Providers process information needed for their services and may operate in countries other than yours. Contact us for information about the providers, processing locations and transfer safeguards applicable to your account. We may disclose information when required by law or to address safety concerns.
Retention and deletion
A deletion request immediately ends account access and removes your profile from discovery. Background cleanup removes the account, related likes, passes, matches, conversations, blocks, feedback and personal email-queue records, and requests removal of stored photos and applicable app-provider relationships. Failed steps retry. Older photos whose ownership cannot be established need manual review. Copies previously saved by others may remain.
After six calendar months without signed-in activity, eligible accounts enter the same deletion workflow, with a six-month transition from policy activation. Accounts with unused paid credits, admirer access, recorded purchases or ongoing subscriptions are protected from automatic deletion. See Delete Account for the full process and retention exceptions.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile, decline optional location access and request account deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, erasure, a portable copy or restriction of your information, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact [email protected] to exercise your rights or ask about the legal basis for processing your information. We may need to verify account ownership before disclosing or deleting data; never send your password.
Security, children and updates
Passwords are hashed, authenticated features require sign-in and safety evidence has restricted access. No service can guarantee complete security. CRUSH is for adults aged 18 or older. Report suspected underage use through the Child Safety contact and reporting options. Updates to this notice will appear here with a revised date.
Terms of Service
By creating an account or using CRUSH, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure and use only accounts and content you are entitled to use.
Respect other members and their boundaries. Harassment, threats, scams, impersonation, unlawful activity, nudity and sexually explicit content are prohibited. Child sexual abuse and exploitation, grooming and sexual solicitation of minors are prohibited. The Safety and Child Safety pages explain our standards and reporting options.
You retain responsibility for the content you submit and permit CRUSH to store, display and process it as needed to provide the service and review safety concerns. We may remove content or suspend access for violations. Contact [email protected] with questions about an account decision.
Connections, matches and meetings are not guaranteed. Location verification and photo screening do not establish identity or guarantee safety. Use your own judgment when communicating or meeting. Available paid features and prices are shown before purchase; a purchase does not guarantee a match. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable.
You can stop using the service and Delete Account. The six-month inactivity policy on that page also applies, including its transition period and protection for existing purchases. For information about associated data, read the Privacy Policy above. Contact Alpha Dynamics Tech at [email protected] for questions about these terms.
